The Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon & Half Marathon is run through a park honors one of the Civil War's most important battles. Join the fun!

1 day till the cannon fires! And yes, it's a real cannon and it's really loud! The cannon will fire at 7:30 am for the marathon & half marathon, 8:00 am for the 5K, and 10:00 am for the junior marathon. All times are EASTERN. Tip: double check your phone to make sure it doesn't flip to central (we are near the time zone line) so you are not late.

Running the half or full marathon and want some help keeping a steady pace? The Chattanooga Track Club offers free pace teams led by experienced pacers, each carrying a flag for their estimated finish time throughout the race. These pacers are volunteers, so pace group availability is based on volunteer availability. Look for the signs at the start to find the available groups.

Wondering what to do with your bag race morning? There will be a bag check area near the start line. Runners should place their belongings in a plastic bag clearly labeled with their race number. More details available at BattlefieldMarathon.com and click on "race day info."

Let's talk parking. We have a lot of parking at the race site, just steps from the start/finish. But please plan on arriving before 6:15 am so all the cars can be parked before Barnhardt Circle closes to traffic at 6:45 am. There are additional parking options at several off site locations. Let's talk packet pick up. You can pick up your packet on Friday from 12 – 7 pm or Saturday from 6:00 – 7:00 am at the race location: 6 Barnhardt Circle, Fort Oglethorpe, GA. If you've waiting until Saturday, plan to leave enough time to park, pick up your packet, and get yourself ready for the start of your race. And don't forget, we've in the EASTERN time zone. Better to be early than late!
